Robin S. McLeod
SSAT President
Welcome to Chicago! DDW is just around the corner and this year we will visit the Windy City of Chicago! Not only is the city a great place to visit, but we can assure you that you won’t want to miss DDW and, in particular, the SSAT offerings. Nic Vauthey and his committee have put together a program that will be of interest to all surgeons. It includes Breakfast and State-of-the-Art Symposia, Meet-the-Professor Luncheons, as well as the usual array of podium presentations and poster sessions. The topics range from the management of pancreatic cysts and post-surgical bile leaks, to management of GERD and Barrett’s esophagus, to management of complications following anorectal surgery, and management of GI cancers. Furthermore, there are special sessions that will be of interest to residents including the Resident and Fellows Research Conference on Friday and Surgical Fellowship Fair on Saturday. More...
