A Look Back at Nearly Three Decades of SSAT Career Development Awards

The SSAT Career Development Award was established in 1987 and since its inception has fostered the careers over 28 outstanding surgeon-scientists. The SSAT Career Development Award continues to be the cornerstone of the work of the SSAT Foundation. The following video highlights the impact of the SSAT Foundation and how your donations make a difference.

In addition, the Foundation is excited to present four past recipients, including the inaugural recipient Dr. Barbara L. Bass, in a video series that highlights how the Career Development Award has helped shape their careers and the difference the Foundation and the SSAT makes.
